do women rest
upon the heights of huge mountains,
dwell
– in dreams directed towards the moon –
in the shadow, of old trees?

Why
do women believe
in heart-religions?
And have ever beautiful
visions of the Virgin appear?
making pilgrimages to Mary,
foremost,
then to the son?
